THURS. Open Level Palos + Palmas Series (5Wk Cycle)

Service Description

This 5-week workshop will take a deeper look at flamenco palos, compás, rhythm + palmas, helping you recognize what you’re hearing and understand how the music guides the dance. We’ll listen, count, clap and explore different palos so you can develop a stronger sense of rhythm, musicality and confidence in your dancing. Come deepen your understanding of flamenco from the inside out. The series meets for 5 consecutive Thursdays- October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd +29th. Please come with comfortable clothing and a hard/closed toe shoe for sound. Classes are non-refundable/non-transferable.
